THESPIAN TROUPE #69

Dubuque Senior High School is a proud member of the International Thespian Society, sponsored by the Educational Theatre Association. The International Thespian Society (ITS), founded in 1929, is an honorary organization for high school and middle school theatre students located at more than 4,200 affiliated secondary schools across America, Canada, and abroad. The mission of ITS is to honor student achievement in the theatre arts.

2025/2026 thespian Officers

Avery is so excited to serve as your 25-26 Thespian Board Vice Chair! She has been on Thespian Board since her sophomore year, and is so grateful to return for a 3rd time her senior year! Additionally, she is also returning as an Unscripted Captain this year. Some of Avery's favorite shows at Senior have been The Revolutionists, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Clue, where she portrayed her dream role of the Singing Telegram Girl. Avery's favorite part of Troupe #69 is the amazing people she gets to work with everyday, and she is constantly inspired by their love for theatre! Let's make this season a great one!

Jameson Norton in stoked to be serving as this years Thespian Board Chair! Jameson has been an active thespian since his induction in 2023, although he has been involved since he was young, helping his parents and siblings out with crew and more. He has been performing onstage since 2nd grade, with community theater shows, and school musicals since middle school. Some of his favorite shows have Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Beauty and the Beast, and Clue. This year will be Jameson's third year as a lights crew head, and he cannot wait for all that this year has to offer!

Chase cannot wait to be spending his last year at Senior as this years Treasurer! Chase was inducted into the thespian troupe in 2023 and served as last years secretary. He also served as one of the Unscripted captains and is stoked to continue this endeavor in the coming year. Chase has been involved in theatre since he was in elementary school, though his favorite shows being Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Andre) and Peter and the Starcatcher (Boy) from last years season. Additionally this will be his second year serving as a lights crew head and is extremely excited to see what this year brings!

Camilla Moeller is exited to be on the Thespian board for her first year as the Secretary! Camilla was inducted into the troupe in 2024. Camilla has been involved in theatre since she was very little, but since she started high school she is fully committed to it. She can't wait to continue to put work into the shows by continuing her work as a set crew head, an assistant director, and stage managing! Camilla can't wait to see what this year brings!

Peyton is thrilled to serve as the Communications Officer for Thespian Troupe 69! A passionate and dedicated member of the troupe, Peyton brings a love for theatre and many leadership skills to this board. With experience onstage as well as behind the scenes as a Publicity Crew Head, she will continue to promote the troupes events and performances to ensure everyone is in the loop and being celebrated! She can't wait to help make 2025/2026 the best theatre season yet!

Liam is ecstatic to be serving on the 25-26 Thespian Board. He was inducted in the spring of 2024 and can't wait to utilize his leadership skills to ensure a welcoming and fun environment for all students. The past two years he has been involved as a member of Unscripted and the Speech Team as well as participating in the spring and fall productions. Offstage he has been a prop crew head and will maintain that role this coming fall. He's grateful for this opportunity, and can't wait for another great year of theater!
