Dubuque Senior to Perform at 2008 State Thespian Conference
Thespian Troupe #69 will perform John Cariani's ALMOST, MAINE at the annual State Thespian Conference at Davenport North High School on November 14-15th. The romantic comedy is set in the mythical town of Almost as the residents are falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. A special preview performance will be held at Dubuque Senior on Thursday, November 13th at 7:00 pm in the Lamb-Hedeman Auditorium.
Dubuque Senior to Perform First Improv Show with New Name
New name, same hilarious results! The Dubuque Senior Theatre Department will show off its newly minted Unscripted: An Improv Comedy Troupe name with the fall improv show on Tuesday, November 25 at 7pm in the Lamb-Hedeman Auditorium. The troupe will perform both classic and contemporary improv scenes and games. You won't want to miss this hilarious performance! Tickets are just $4.00 and are sold on the night of the performance.
I.H.S.S.A. Auditions to be Held November 18-20
The upcoming auditions for the 2008-2009 Iowa High School Speech Association Large Group and Individual Events speech team will be held Tuesday, November 18-20 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. If you are interested in auditioning, sign up for a fifteen-minute audition time slot on the callboard inside Room A209.
